
Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has strongly criticized the increasing insecurity in the country. In a recent interview, he emphasized the need to stop normalizing the violence and killings that have become alarmingly prevalent. According to him, addressing these issues is crucial for the nation's growth and development.Speaking at the 13th Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Abuja, held at St. James Anglican Church in Asokoro, Jonathan called upon both the youth and elders to unite in combating insecurity. He stressed that it is essential to foster peace and harmony within our communities, especially as the nation grapples with rising violence, notably in northern regions.Jonathan underscored that ensuring security in Nigeria is a collective responsibility for all citizens. He urged everyone to come together to create a safer environment and contribute to the well-being of the country.
