Emeka Ofokansi, hailing from Nando, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Obaneche Ofokansi. He is a visionary storyteller and dynamic creator whose work seamlessly weaves together fiction and non-fiction, resulting in impactful and memorable narratives. Emeka is deeply passionate about character-driven novels and ethically crafted stories that draw inspiration from his roots in Nando, Anambra State, Nigeria. Music Career
Emeka embarked on his musical journey in 2015, although his passion for music was ignited during his secondary school years in 2014. His debut song, Tongolo
, was recorded in Onitsha, where he also showcased his talent at various local performances. Following the passing of his mother, Emeka moved to Onitsha to be with his sisters. During this difficult time, he briefly worked as a SIM vendor at an Airtel office, which fueled his desire to pursue a career in computer science.
While at Airtel, Emeka joined the choir at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Onitsha, nurturing his musical skills. Although his tenure in the choir was brief, it profoundly enhanced his creative abilities. He later relocated to Lagos to stay with his brother in Omonile, Amuwo Odofin, where he pursued computer lessons in Satellite Town. There, he expanded his skill set to include graphic and web design while maintaining his unwavering passion for music. Emeka actively immersed himself in the vibrant music community, frequently engaging with beat-dropping freestyles on social media.
In January 2026, Emeka announced the impending release of his debut EP, Believe and Pray
. By March of that year, he unveiled the EP, marking his introduction to the music scene as an emerging artist to watch.
Entrepreneurial Journey
Emeka founded the Demeck Group, which serves as the parent organization for several ventures, including his record label Acehouse Records, Demeck Furniture, Demeck Electro Co., Demeck Market (abbreviated as DM), and Miss Sandra Restaurants, among other future projects.
