The Mayor of Nnewi North,Hon. Echezona Anazodo performed the commissioning of 10 new operational tricycles for waste disposal yesterday at the council secretariat
Hon. Anazodo said the move is part of ongoing efforts to keep Nnewi clean, promote public health, and restore environmental order in the commercial city. The tricycles are designed to access streets and neighborhoods where larger trucks cannot easily operate, ensuring faster and more efficient waste evacuation.
He charged waste management officers and operators of the new tricycles to embrace rapid response and efficient service delivery.
